Five Fashionably Late to Justice: The Farmington Arrest Roundup
Farmington, CT (June 25, 2025) — In our trademark “always last…to breaking news” style, The Farmington Mercury delivers the nitty-gritty on the five arrests logged between June 24 at 7 a.m. and June 25 at 7 a.m.—all citizens are innocent until proven guilty.
Two Times Over for “Failure to Appear”
On June 24 at 4:33 p.m., the Farmington PD’s own Nicholas G. Karangekis hauled in Shannon L. Moderacki (DOB 09/11/1994) at 319 New Britain Avenue on not one, but two re-arrest warrants for “Failure to Appear, 2nd Degree.” Bond was set at $10,000 surety—twice over, naturally—totaling $20,000.
Aparo’s Double Feature: Impersonation, Larceny & More
Daniel R. Aparo was cuffed twice at 1600 Southeast Road on June 24 at 4:03 p.m.
- Incident 2500008192: Criminal Impersonation (no bond) and Interfere with Officer/Resisting ($500 surety).
- Incident 2500010107: Larceny, 6th Degree ($5,000 surety), plus a repeat Criminal Impersonation and “Resisting” counts ($0 bond on each).
By our count, $5,500 in bonds for Mr. Aparo, who now has more court dates than Netflix premieres.
One and Done for Failure to Appear
At 3:05 p.m. on June 24, Derby PD transferred custody of Pacifico T. Flores (DOB 12/10/1987) to Farmington officers. Charged with Failure to Appear, 1st Degree, Mr. Flores posted the $10,000 surety bond and walked free—fashionably late to court, but back in time for dinner.
