It was a busy week for Farmington police, who arrested eight individuals between Monday, May 12 and Friday, May 16 on a range of criminal charges, from disorderly conduct and threatening to impersonation and violation of a protective order. Court appearances followed swiftly in nearly every case, with bond amounts ranging from $500 to $50,000.
Child Endangerment, Assault Lead to Arrest on Farmington Avenue
On Thursday, May 15 at approximately 4:02 p.m., Farmington officers arrested Alexa Kathryn Galuzny, 27, of Torrington, at 270 Farmington Avenue. Galuzny faces three charges: Disorderly Conduct (§53a-182), Assault in the Third Degree (§53a-61), and Risk of Injury to a Child (§53-21(a)(1)). Bond was set at $1,500, and she was held pending court the next day.
Repeat Offender Charged Twice Within 30 Minutes
That same day, Michael Nolan, 24, of Farmington, was arrested twice within a half-hour at 71 New Britain Avenue. The first charge, logged at 11:05 a.m., was Threatening – Physical Threat (§53a-62(a)(1)) with a $5,000 bond. By 11:33 a.m., he was again arrested at the same location for Disorderly Conduct (§53a-182), carrying an additional $2,500 bond.
Early Morning Larceny on New Britain Ave
In the early hours of May 15, police arrested Armando Rivera-Hernandez, 40, of Bristol, at 319 New Britain Avenue. Charged with Simple Trespass (§53a-110a) and Larceny in the Fourth Degree (§53a-125), he posted a $25,000 surety bond.
DUI, Impersonation, and More: Arrest at Walnut and Farmington
On Tuesday, May 13 at 2:48 p.m., Mark Edward Bossone, 56, who listed no permanent address, was arrested at the intersection of Farmington Avenue and Walnut Street. His charges include Operating Under Suspension (§14-215), DUI (Third Offense) (§14-227a(3rd)), Criminal Impersonation (§53a-130), Failure to Drive in Proper Lane (§14-236), and Interfering with an Officer (§53a-167a). Bossone was held on a $500 bond.
Arrest at Bliss Memorial: Theft Charge
Just before 3 a.m. on May 13, officers executed a warrant at 16 Bliss Memorial Road, arresting David Martin Fournier, 64, on a charge of Larceny in the Sixth Degree (§53a-125b). He later posted a $5,000 bond.
Protective Order Violation in Southington
On May 12 at 9:20 p.m., Nicholas J. Dube, 21, of Southington, was taken into custody at his home on Meeker Road. Charged with Violation of a Protective Order (§53a-223), Dube was released after posting a $50,000 surety bond.
South Road Disturbance Leads to Breach of Peace Charge
Earlier that same afternoon, Jeffrey Omar Davis, 35, of Waterbury, was arrested at 500 South Road for Breach of Peace in the Second Degree (§53a-181). Davis posted a $1,500 nonsurety bond. His court appearance is scheduled for May 20.
