Two Arrests in Farmington: August 15–18
Between the hours of “probably too late to be doing anything productive” and “why is your headlight out again?”, Farmington police arrested two individuals on the weekend of August 16, 2025. All suspects are, of course, innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Case One: Fienemann Road, 3:15 a.m.
Name: Eric Javier Jara, age 23, of New Britain, CT.
Date & Time: Arrested on August 16, 2025, at 3:15 a.m. on Fienemann Road.
Charges:
- Operating an unregistered motor vehicle (Connecticut Statute 14-12(a))
- Driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs (14-227a)
- Improper parking near intersections/crosswalks (14-251(b))
Bond: $2,500, which he posted.
Court Date: August 26, 2025.
Remarks: The arrest log helpfully notes he was “in connection with Driving Under the Influence.” Translation: you don’t want to know how close that crosswalk came.
Case Two: Route 6, 1:02 a.m.
Name: Kyle Paul Webber, age 22, of Bristol, CT.
Date & Time: Arrested on August 16, 2025, at 1:02 a.m. on Route 6.
Charges:
- Speeding over 60 MPH (14-219(c)(2))
- Failure to obey a traffic signal (14-299)
- Failure to display lights (14-96a(a))
- Driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs (14-227a)
Bond: $2,500, which he posted.
Court Date: August 26, 2025.
Remarks: Arrested “in connection with Driving Under the Influence.” Rumor has it his headlights were so invisible, even Farmington Storage’s Museum Air couldn’t preserve them.
A Note on Justice
Both men have court dates set for August 26, 2025. Until then, they remain innocent until proven guilty—a fact that we must repeat, lest your cousin on Facebook confuse arrest logs with biblical commandments.
