šŸ—žļø Arrest Log: Farmington’s 24-Hour Crime Spree Peaks at Two

Always last to breaking news—because comedy ages like wine.

ā€˜Love Is a Battlefield’—Protective-Order Edition

Samia Shantell Ramos, 20, of Bridgeport, allegedly decided that a court-mandated ā€œkeep your distanceā€ suggestion was merely a polite hint. Farmington Police say she violated a protective order three whopping times at 2 Forest Park Dr. on June 3 at 6:07 p.m. Officer Pacifico T. Flores obligingly supplied the escort downtown, and Ramos posted a $10,000 nonsurety bond faster than most residents post photos of their hydrangeas. Court date: June 4.

ā€˜Paperwork? Never Heard of Her’—Traffic Edition

Earlier the same day, Monique Taja Poitier, 30, of Hartford, allegedly treated New Britain Avenue like a DMV-free zone. Police claim she rocked expired plates, no insurance, and the casual confidence to run a red light—an automotive hat-trick, if you will. Arrested at 3:19 New Britain Ave. at 2:10 p.m., Poitier posted a $2,500 nonsurety bond and now has a June 10 court date penciled between ā€œrenew registrationā€ and ā€œGoogle ā€˜minimum insurance.ā€™ā€ Officer Kyle Roque handled the cameo.

Small Print for Big Laughs

Everyone listed here is innocent until proven guilty. Consider each charge a dramatic allegation, not a verdict—much like your neighbor’s claim that their lawn ā€œnaturally grows that green.ā€
