Farmington Man Arrested for Breach of Peace and Threatening, Bond Set at $10K

Arrest at Scott Swamp Road

On August 18, 2025, at precisely 1:02 p.m., Farmington police arrested Dominick Michael Borghese, 57, of Southington, CT, at 88 Scott Swamp Road . Court papers say he will appear before a judge on August 19, 2025.

Charges Filed

Borghese is charged with:

  • Breach of Peace, 2nd Degree (53a-181)
  • Threatening, 2nd Degree (53a-62(a)(1))

Police noted the arrest was tied to a family violence incident. A $10,000 nonsurety bond was posted, proving once again that Connecticut’s judicial system runs on cash and patience in equal measure .
