Farmington Crime Chronicles: Shoplifting Shenanigans and Speeding Sprees

Farmington Police Blotter: Nov. 19–21

Good news, Farmington! While you were debating cranberry sauce consistency, the Farmington Police Department had its hands full, proving once again that crime doesn’t take a holiday. Here’s the lowdown on who got caught, where, and why from Nov. 19 to Nov. 21. Remember, folks, everyone is innocent until proven guilty—except in the court of public opinion.

1. Anthony C. Lustrinelli (40, Dunkirk, NY)

🗓 Arrested: Nov. 20, 2024, 10:48 PM
📍 Location: Chautauqua Corrections
💰 Bond: $25,000 surety
Charges:

  • Larceny (3rd Degree)
  • Forgery (3rd Degree)

Remarks: Anthony’s evening was anything but restful after a warrant landed him in custody. We’re guessing the “forgery” skillset didn’t extend to forging an alibi.

2. Monazha Akina Lacy (25, Hartford, CT)

🗓 Arrested: Nov. 20, 2024, 5:06 PM
📍 Location: 1600 Southeast Road
💰 Bond: $5,000 non-surety, posted
Charges:

  • Larceny (6th Degree – Shoplifting)
  • Criminal Impersonation

Remarks: When impersonation is part of the crime, you know the drama is good. Monazha tried her best to avoid the Farmington PD, but they’re not easily fooled—and the $5,000 bond suggests they weren’t amused, either.

3. Garrett Erskine Ruedemann (21, Waterbury, CT)

🗓 Arrested: Nov. 19, 2024, 5:07 PM
📍 Location: 99 Farmington Avenue
💰 Bond: $5,000 surety, posted
Charges:

  • Traffic Control Violations
  • Reckless Driving
  • Engaging Police in Pursuit

Remarks: Garrett went pedal-to-the-metal, but his driving didn’t exactly scream “law-abiding citizen.” His antics earned him multiple traffic charges and a bond big enough to cover next year’s road repairs.

4. Jose Anibal Martinez (33, Bristol, CT)

🗓 Arrested: Nov. 19, 2024, 11:10 AM
📍 Location: GA 14
💰 Bond: $50,000 set
Charges:

  • Failure to Drive Properly
  • Operating Without a License
  • Reckless Driving
  • Interfering with an Officer
  • Reckless Endangerment (and more!)

Remarks: If there were an award for the sheer number of violations in one arrest, Jose would be a strong contender. The bond suggests that Farmington PD is taking his reckless spree very seriously.
