Final Reminder: Pay Your January Tax Installment by February 3rd
Farmington residents, it’s time to handle your January tax installment! 🏘️ The Tax Office has announced that February 3rd, 2025, is the absolute last day to pay your tax bill without incurring penalties. If you’re late, a 1.5% interest rate will be applied per month and calculated retroactively from the original due date of January 1st. Ouch! 😬
Avoid the Late Fee Crunch
Here’s how to avoid trouble:
- Online Payments: You can likely pay online, so check the official site for details.
- In-Person: Stop by the Tax Office to make your payment and get your questions answered.
- By Phone: Need clarification? Call the Tax Office at 860.675.2340 for assistance.
Being late doesn’t just cost you money—it costs peace of mind. Make it a point to cross this off your to-do list!
